Caragana Spreading

This year we’ve noticed a marked increase in caragana spawning and spreading. The image on this post is in the middle of the labyrinth field, it just appeared there.

We also see almost a new row, between the tall ones bordering the front yard and the secret garden, maybe 15 or 20 some / feet high. More appearing in the southwest corner and the open area in the west shelter belt. More on the edges of existing belts.

These are spreading by seed. Is it more pollination by bees? Carried by birds? Is it the rain this spring helping?

It’s another case where just letting things go, not cutting g grass, is rewilding the land.
