The bushes we put in the garden produced well last year but they were getting very clumped. Research (googling) tell us we need to prune each year, to thin browned “canes” and to put spaces between rows.

That was done today, there was a lot of dead stalks and I thinned and gave more space between 2 main rows and a new one formed by suckering.

The red stalks I cut were very green. Looking good.
