The Last Winter Breath

Alas the shattered expectations of the 14 day weather forecast, a week out there was a25-30mm of raisin THEN it became 10cm of snow and THEN we got maybe 2cm.

But all moisture counts! This is good timing for the poplars and caragana we have been shoving in. Nothing compared to look last years big final snow a week later in April.

All precipitation is welcome here. The back slough is lower than last year but holding a decent amount of water, birds are around all the time and the frogs started croaking.

The Brody tree is looking good with new buds.
