We spotted a fox wandering about around the den in the geothermal field. This is the first clear day after 2 days of wind and snow.

No photos just watched (picture above was later)

He wandered about, sat, scampered back and forth and dived into the den.

Questions ensue- who is this? The recently named Sherlock (or Smudge?) with the dark color on back, spotted on the barn trail camera.

Regardless the foxes have, in the last 10 days been much more active eating the eggs and other food left in barn.

Hoping there’s a very pregnant mom to feed (maybe Sherman?)
